@tomaspueyo What if one removes and polishes all the meaningless details. To such a degree that it matches the depth of intend. Do you think it's possible to convey the idea that somebody cared, even when the creation itself is artificial?

It seems that humans are just obsessed with reproducing themselves.

We won't stop then. We'll want to produce emotions in them and feel them ourselves.
Just until we reach the point of where we already are?

The entertainer Alan Watts talked about one of the phantasies, as he called it, which revolved about that matter of reproduction.
It's remarkable to see the continuation nowadays, quite some time later.

Yes, it responds with language. Language is the vehicle of thinking, which in turn contributes to our emotions. AIs are a reproduction of that thinking process, and I think that's where the question about consciousness arises.

Regarding the complexity of the system, consider some other example, say a baby for example. Its brain's development can be inferior to other animal's species, yet we assume a baby is conscious.

Yes. Got me thinking on a few occasions. Right now, actually.
Even when it's just polishing a few words, or fixing minor grammar mistakes. Why?
It's really about that need for connection, which is not getting met in the way I'd like, when I see certain messages. This got me thinking, to what extend I'd like to polish my own messages.
