Cancer Survivor. Director of Government Relations, Secretary of State Wes Allen. Auburn, Bayern, and BHM. Westwood Elementary School Geography Bee Champion.
5 years seemed so far off in 2019. But with every milestone, scan, and anxiety filled oncology visit I knew I was getting closer to “graduation”. Today I’m incredibly grateful and blessed to say I’m 5 years cancer-free, otherwise known as “medically cured”. Thank you to everyone who has ever said a kind word or prayed for me. Thank you to my incredible Urologist, Dr. Duggan, and my Oncologists, Dr. Gore and Dr. Capra.
This said, early detection saved my life, and I know so many are not as lucky as I have been. Just a few weeks ago, I saw yet another guy who was a husband, father, and son, pass away from this terrible disease. If you’re a guy, self-examination is key. If you are worried about any potential changes in your health, talk to a medical professional. It could save your life.
Finally, thank you to @b___hester. I could not have gotten through the last several years without you by my side. I love you.
God is great, God is good, even when we’re suffering. Because God is Great, God is good, all the time.

Christian evangelical leader Scott Dawson endorsed @WesAllenAlabama in the Republican lieutenant governor runoff, citing a decade-long relationship and Allen’s record in statewide office.
“Why do we need to be for one person and against another?” Dawson said. “Let’s not be like that in 2026. I’m voting for Wes Allen to be our next Lt. Governor for several reasons.”

If anyone is wondering why Nehemiah Wahl is putting blatantly false statements out regarding the state income tax, his non-stop push polls are why. I received one a day for 10 days straight. Apparently it’s the issue “performing” best, so he’s running with it. #alpolitics
Instead of focusing on these lies, though, we should be focusing on the fact that he cannot legally hold the office he is pursuing, used a fake ID to vote, and obtained a Tennessee drivers license stating that he was a lawful permanent resident of that state. #alpolitics

Fourth generation Alabamian (turned Texas transplant) here - Alabama is incredibly underrated. I went to an excellent high school with an IB program & more AP classes than one person could take. Beaches, mountains, lakes, a top 50 public university (Auburn - my alma mater. War Eagle! 🦅 🐅), top 100 public university (Alabama), a top 35 med school (UAB), a top 50 law school (Alabama), Huntsville has Boeing, NASA (including Space Camp), the Redstone Federal Arsenal, and the highest PhDs per capita in the nation. Budding food scene. College football is life! People are friendly. You can buy a house for not a ton of money. I could go on!
Media interviews today to help remind Alabamians to go out and vote in the May 19 Primary Election. Don’t forget your photo ID and to thank your poll workers tomorrow! #alpolitics
