@LDLanguages I just used the streaks in Duolingo. It might not be the best tool for language learning, but it's certainly got me hooked on maintaining my streak and doing at least one lesson every day (OK, most days -- I still use streak freezes).

@AndyMur88075585 @western_health @SharnelleVella No, no, no. I'm under 40 and phase 1B and had to wait for nearly 2 hours at this same location yesterday. It really depends on when you go. If they open up to under 40s, they need to have a priority queue for earlier phases who weren't able to get Pfizer until recently.

Answer: Karen. "Biweekly" & "bimonthly" are problems. People can't agree on whether bi- indicates 2x per time unit or once every 2 time units. But even if Karen has sushi once every 2 weeks (14 days) & Mabel has sushi twice a month (~once/15 days), Karen still gets more sushi.

@MichiPachirisu @MikeyMooseNC @FeldmanAdam Agreed. "Queer" would fit well in this context. Or if they wanted to pay homage to Canada's Drag Race, "sissies". I do see the f-word used as a positive term on occasion, but it's quite rare.

@FeldmanAdam I didn't get the translator's notes in the (forced) subtitles when I was watching. I was cringing at the way they translated maricón throughout. As a Spanish translator who happens to be queer, I do not consider that at all appropriate in this context.
