Just finished a major opinion piece on Intimate Partner Violence in Aboriginal communities and I tell you what…it’s 🔥🔥🔥
Ive analysed the data and it’s going to debunk a lot of myths.
Most importantly it should reset the focus where it needs to be- on addressing factors which maintain the victim-offender abuse cycle-and which have ensured Aboriginal women remain as our most vulnerable victims. The data is not only badly understood; it’s poorly captured and creates distorted narratives that offer nothing in terms of targeted prevention efforts.

I’m very pleased with it.
