Enjoyable visits yesterday to @AnglianLearning schools @LVCollege and @LintonHeights to meet staff and pupils. Thank you to both for the warm welcome. And today spent with @HowardCAcademy during their inspection. Staff and pupils were brilliant during the process.
@MaleTrevor @CEL_IOE@IOE_London Interesting observations. Are we clear that when we identify ‘monolithic’, we’re not in fact talking about greater consistency? School autonomy may have advantages but also lead to too much variety in the quality of education in any one district.

A huge thank you to staff, pupils, our community and wonderful Trust @AnglianLearning who have all supported the school over the past 2 days during our visit from Ofsted, from providing support, warm wishes, guidance and cake - lots of cake!!
PM says pupils need to develop analytical skills to be equipped for future employment patterns. But arguably it’s these skills that will become obsolete in the AI revolution. Better to focus on developing creativity, which cannot easily be achieved by machine learning?
Fantastic CPD today on diversity throughout the school. Gave me loads to think about and act on for Physical Education in our Trust’s schools!
Thank you Bennie!
