College basketball all comes down to March Madness and success in the tourney. In the end that’s all that matters so with that being said this tourney has taught me.
Iowa is better than Iowa State and Nebraska, Iowa is just as good as Duke, and Iowa was a top 8 team in CBB.
You really can go 82-0 without Wilt and Kareem.
You just need the two best players ever, one of the best centers ever, one of the best scorers ever, and a guy who averaged a triple double.
I guess experience will just always beat youth.
Any experienced team in the spurs position wins that game easy.
Spurs were just too young and inexperienced and they blow a 24 point halftime lead.
😬
At some point you need to face the facts we all have faced at one point or another.
Your competitive playing career may just be over.
19 and 20 year old kids who didn’t get offers to play in college don’t get to re-class down every year so they can keep playing.
Give it up!
Sources: Iowa’s Ben McCollum has agreed to a new six-year contract.
Led the Hawkeyes to a 24-13 record last season and an appearance in the Elite Eight.
The Steelers now have 7 Hawkeyes on their roster:
• Kaden Wetjen
• Gennings Dunker
• Logan Lee
• Kaleb Johnson
• Brandon Smith
• Yahya Black
• Sebastian Castro
The Iowa City to Pittsburgh pipeline runs deep!
And we have a 2nd year Roman Wilson who was great when targeted last year.
Always good to have young guys. But, if Rodgers is coming back the pick makes ALOT of sense.
I’m very confused. Steelers signed DK and Michael Pittman Jr to big contracts, yet Steelers fans are saying they don’t have any WRs?
They already have 2 starting WRs… they can get one today. Didn’t need a 1st rd pick on one.
Steelers had their guy and let their in-state rival snatch him from their grasp in front of their home fans tonight.
Sums up the state of the franchise. Too busy standing still while the best teams in the league leave them in the dust.
