@ChristianKaray Going to be really interesting where the QBs end up going. Think the closer we get to the draft the more talk there’ll be of them going higher?
@philpete@TheSpursExpress Whilst this week specifically may not have made too much of difference fans back in stadiums certainly have. Mourinho wouldn’t have lasted half as long if stadiums weren’t empty almost his entire reign
@ChristianKaray And rams are classic example of paying Goff big money when it was pretty obvious to all he wasn’t a franchise qb and then had to make huge trade to make up for it
@ChristianKaray And 2/3 don’t but a lot end up paying average qbs big money chasing the dream.
I’d also not count Brady and Stafford here as they’re proven qbs moving teams - so really it’s even less.
In fact buccs are great example of not paying Winston - getting rid and getting better
@ChristianKaray The term ‘franchise qb’ should be buried. So few of them in the league that deserve being called that. but teams fall into the trap of paying their qb big money because they’re desperate for their franchise qb
@ChristianKaray Ye I agree. Still a risk but don’t think it’s as big a risk as paying him top dollar to the detriment of the team. This is the best team baker will likely ever have. Let’s see by end of the season, but judging on past few years just don’t think it makes sense.
