@AngelaRayner The problem with that is the banning Section 21 evictions alone will only make more private landlords sell up, reducing supply and further increasing rents.
It's going to make things worse unless there is a plan to replace the lost rental properties.
It's seeing stuff like this that makes you think the conspiracy theorists that claim senior politicians are really alien lizards wearing human suits just might have a point.
