@27Tawnyowl Looks like the outside toilet at my grandmas. The house in a now desirable part of Oxford is probably worth north of £1M today - how times have changed.
Oxford United can confirm, following an oral renewal hearing earlier today, that a High Court Judge has refused permission for a judicial review relating to the planning permission for the Club’s proposed new stadium.
Having heard submissions from Counsel for each of Friends of Stratfield Brake (the Claimant), Cherwell District Council, Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford United, the Judge concluded that the grounds of challenge were unarguable.

This sort of thing has happened before. A well known brewery group planned to launch a new bar chain called Bar58 the first venue was going to be in Manchester. 1958 was the year of the Munich air disaster that killed 23 of Man U’s Busby Babes - the brand name quickly changed.
@Mikehomeseller That’s a near impossible choice - arguably some of the best hardcore prog rock tracks - I’d normally go straight for Rush but always had a soft spot for Echoes so that what I’d choose today.
@AmoreBrexit Could have been excellent if toned down several notches and with a better program. The ingredients were all there Yunga Wang, Toby Spence etc. but focus on making it a TV extravaganza ruined it so 3 out of 10.
@mej050593 It’s made life easier for AR in not having to shuffle a large group of existing and new players. January in some strange way might make things more difficult. It going to require a careful balancing act.
@TMVernon_21 Totally focused on creating an entertainment experience for the TV audience rather than simply broadcasting a concert and let the music and atmosphere do the talking. I dare say the answer is to simply turn it off the TV and listen to R3.
@mcdermottkc_ Agree it should always move with the times but last night strayed too far off course lurching from something akin to Strictly Come Dancing (didn’t need the dancers) to unfamiliar classical works. It all seemed very forced.
@Mikehomeseller At the time of release I was still heavily into their late 70’s albums / ESL and Moving Pictures. It took me time to warm to Signals but now in my top 5 Rush albums.
