Reis Claybrooke finished tied for 16th place in a field of 113 golfers at the IHSA State Tournament.

After a tough first round on Friday, Reis was in 68th place with his score of 82.

Reis came back strong today when he shot the second-lowest score on the day, 70 (-1), to finish in the Top 20 at State.

On the final hole of his prep career, Reis drained a 50-foot putt from the fringe on a downward slope. A fitting ending of a career for a MSHS golfer that will go down as one of the best in the program’s history.
