Christian Nationalism is what it looks like to try to justify giving into this temptation in the name of God.
Christianity should look like a preoccupation with loving others as ourselves, not an obsession with how others are not abiding by our own personal beliefs and how they should conform immediately.
I was a cold, hard, tough guy; never shed a tear. I thought I was strong. But Jesus broke me down, and now I can cry tears of joy. And I am ten times stronger than I was. Thank you Jesus.

How to stop shame without becoming shameful.
How to stop oppression without becoming oppressive.
How to stop violence without becoming violent.
When we give up on this struggle, we give up on the sacred work of love.
Beware of anyone in authority who is stoking fear, hate, and aggression into the hearts of their followers. They are only interested in their own power.
Seek out those who are stoking love, kindness, and compassion into the hearts of others, while empowering the most vulnerable.
