Great reflective piece from @nedwards_1 about the importance of curiosity, and the value of looking at the things others might be missing. And of keeping open the possibility of being wrong and changing your mind!

@MaxWarnerIFS@TheIFS Okay, so it does include housing, planning, transport etc. Which would mean adult + children's social care is about 50% nationally?? There's quite a bit of variation between LA's spending profile due to demographics etc, so would be good to separate it if poss one day?
@MaxWarnerIFS@TheIFS It's the largest, but it's only about 30% or closer to 20 when you look at adults only. Is the local govt bit then minus education, policing & public health spending?
These case studies show how hard the ambulance sector is trying to create positive working environments where everyone can flourish at work @AACE_org@Ldn_Ambulance @HeyTomAbell
@LucaTiratelli Maybe it takes a bit more to sober me up, but I thought it was quite unremarkable tbh! Even with all the caveats and assumptions excess to heat is tiny and temp related in winter accounts for small % of total.
@davidjbuck Not that I would ever play devils advocate... but do you think that the company that produces Volvic & Activia would gain any undue market advantage from an HFSS?
@cjsnowdon How do you think this squares with the PHS report that said alcohol related mortality dropped by 13% in 1st 2 years?
Is it a lockdown harm or are "hazardous" drinkers seeing large health benefit? Lack of 2ndry prevention for v heaviest the real failure? https://t.co/nexnAbmHoM
