In this week's hits and misses from @jonerp - why AI needs more than ROI - it needs buyer trust. Why AI leadership needs a rethink, and after the digi team descended on San Francisco - Dreamforce is a wrap. Your whiffs include a new (strange) buzzword: https://t.co/lFJ7rZm4HV

Singapore Is Paying People to Put Down Their Phones and Read Books https://t.co/XEM98u2qnZ

@diginomica@jonerp The part about vendors hiding their monitoring tools says a lot. In aerospace I instrument everything precisely because failure is expected somewhere. Admitting your AI needs observation should be a selling point, not an embarrassment.
Buyer trust for AI services is a big talking point right now. So why does @jonerp say "enterprises buy from vendors they trust" is a totally useless, mind-numbing cliche? May be it's time for an enterprise rethink: https://t.co/Vrrso3Jox0
@LukasForTech@diginomica yes! I've been pressing vendors on this and too many are doing what you're describing, either they have immature eval tools or they don't stress it with customers - but as you say, they should. Well said...
So many questions this week in @jonerp's enterprise hits and misses - are AI agents employees, or not? Are enterprise harnesses ready? Are transfomer loops a security fail? And can Microsoft claim our entire whiffs section? 💩💩 https://t.co/BMGw2BykFK
@MaureenB2B all depends on one's workflow and preferences along with compatibility with close colleagues.... I wish there was a universal playbook for better.... example I use signal and proton but many of my colleagues don't etc
Switzerland is paying $11 million to stop using Outlook and Teams https://t.co/HQ6pkzxuvc
-> cost me a bit less than that, and was worth every freaking penny. Though in my case it was escape from Windows11 and Co-pilot that really cheered me up
Doctor Doom Thanked Seattle for All the Surveillance Cameras https://t.co/bPCUxz7tft
-> good to see Dr. Doom getting involved in local public comment sessions lolz
Microsoft Vibe Gaming: an AI to play your games for you https://t.co/FSmnTAICLO
"What if gaming, but we remove the bit where you play the game?"
-> makes sense to me, have to get ready for agents to live our lives entirely while we watch from comfy couches...

Amazon’s AI training on Twitch: ‘If it was opt in, nobody would opt in’ https://t.co/HSqLl6sPMr

Jensen Huang once again declares that ‘AGI has arrived’ — but his GPT-6 celebration feels like he’s just trying to sell next-gen Nvidia GPUs : r/technology https://t.co/mOb9zBUZsC
