@POTUS@realDonaldTrump Iran will never ever adhere to agreements and we will be back at it in a few years and they will have nukes. FINISH THEM ONCE AND FOR ALL HUMANITY
@Delta Disappointed with my experience at LaGuardia today. I was traveling First Class with my wife and have an American Express Platinum Card. I was told I could access the Sky Club if I uploaded my Platinum Card to my Delta account, but I was also told my wife could not be admitted because I didn’t have the physical Amex card with me to purchase a guest pass. Since we were traveling together in First Class, I chose not to upload the card and enter without her. A digital card should be sufficient in 2026. This experience will definitely make me think twice before booking Delta again.
So the cost of that UFC setup is supposed to be what’s keeping Americans from affording healthcare? Come on. The real problem with healthcare costs is a broken legal system. Frivolous lawsuits against doctors, hospitals, and drug makers drive insurance and medical costs through the roof. We need caps on runaway awards and more mediation instead of endless litigation. But I doubt Congress fixes it, because half the people writing the laws are lawyers who benefit from the system.
You can’t negotiate with a leader who thinks he can do whatever he wants. China isn’t backing Russia out of loyalty — they’re using Russia for their own agenda. The weaker Russia gets, the more dependent it becomes on China. I don’t think Russia collapses tomorrow, but I do think Putin is slowly creating his own downfall.
@DoorDash
DoorDash needs to let dashers see the actual items ordered so they can double-check before leaving the restaurant.
I ordered 2 steak fajitas + chips & queso — dasher sent a pic of the bag with the receipt… it clearly showed ONLY 1 fajita. No check, no fix.
Now I’ve got food for one when it was dinner for two.
And here’s the kicker — I still tipped 20% on food I never received. DoorDash refunds the missing item, but not the tip. So I get hit twice.
If the restaurant screws up, DoorDash should either:
redeliver the missing meal, OR
make the restaurant eat the cost — including the tip.
This isn’t complicated. Customers shouldn’t pay for mistakes they didn’t make.
You can blame war or whoever’s in office, but we wouldn’t feel it like this if decades of policy hadn’t boxed in supply.
The Clean Air Act (especially the 1990 expansion) and National Environmental Policy Act—policies where Democrats had the major hand in pushing and expanding them—made refineries incredibly expensive and slow to build.
Result:
No major new refinery since the 1970s
Refinery count cut nearly in half
~1M barrels/day capacity lost since 2020
@frank_lunchbox@TheJusticeDept@DAGToddBlanche Kentucky has the death penalty. And it still wouldn’t matter here — this is a federal case. The feds can pursue death under the Federal Death Penalty Act of 1994. The state has zero say.
