It's day 13 of Lenny's surgery. He has finally had his cone off for a bout 4 days now and hasn't touched his stitches much. We should be able to take the external ones out tomorrow and the internal ones will hopefully dissolve in 3 months. I'm so proud of my boy.

And believe me this pain is worse than being made to walk on a fractured foot for 3 wks, I can't breath or cough without feeling like I'm being stabbed constantly

So I had an injury at school when I was 8 and now it's giving me grief. Next Tuesday I have an appt so we'll see if I need an x-ray or MRI to see what happened 11 years ago 😅 this pain is not fun 😭

Lenny was annoyed by the cone so I've decided to take it off, also doesn't help that it's raining on and off.

Last night Lenny slept without his cone and didn't touch his stitches, I'll try him in 2 days without it for the whole day and see how he goes. He's doing so well 🥰

My boy got surgery yesterday and now he has to learn to squat. It wasn't the most fun for him or me.

So... been sick for 3 weeks, trying to stay warm in winter and being in a shed while moving doesn't help. I checked last night for COVID but in Australia it's not a thing anymore well not in Queensland and my town at least. Might be a common (rhino)virus but won't know til 8th...
