It is perfectly normal to talk out loud to your pets. Bonus points if you answer yourself in "their" voice. Double bonus points if your different pets have different "voices."
Me: now that our cats have passed, it's kinda nice not dealing w/ litter, hair & puke. Maybe we won't get more cats...
Also me: Scanning adoptable cats, thinking about cats, watching cat videos, sleeping with a stuffed cat bc I miss the real ones...
Totally getting more cats.
My dog doesn't follow me into the bathroom. She waits until I'm...fully committed...then SHOVES the door wide open, makes eye contact, and walks away. #dogs
"We need to be careful when using genetics as an easy 'explanation' for behavior...Genetics has an important and undeniable contribution to behavior. However, how and to what degree genetics interacts with environmental variables is far from known." - Dr. Nathan Hall #PPGSummit
