If you want God to not only hear but to listen, then speak the language of faith. “Father, thank You that Your mercy is bigger than my mistakes. Thank You that You’re not holding my past against me. Thank You that I am forgiven. Thank You that I’m redeemed.”
What’s in your path may seem harmful; it looks like you can’t get around it. You’re afraid. But if you’ll start moving forward, you’ll discover God didn’t leave you here on earth with enemies that can stop your destiny. They’re already defeated.
We didn’t defeat the enemy; Jesus defeated him. But because we belong to Christ, His victory is our victory. Because He lives, we can live. Because He rendered the enemy powerless, we can walk in freedom.

In order to see what God is doing, you have to take steps forward. You can’t let fear dominate, live worried about your future, believe your mistakes are too great. God has already taken care of what’s trying to stop you.
The Scripture says in 1 John, “Because you belong to God, you have already defeated the enemy.” What you’re up against has already been defeated. The battle has already been won.

Here’s the beauty, because you belong to God, because you’re His child, you have already defeated the enemy. Anything you face in life, you need to see it as defeated. Don’t pray for victory; pray from victory. “Father, thank You that I am free.”
Have the right perspective: whatever enemies you face—enemies of fear, enemies of depression, enemies of poverty, enemies of insecurity—they have already been defeated. Now here’s the key, if you don’t realize this, you can let a defeated enemy keep you from your destiny.
The power in you is greater than any power that’s coming against you. If you were on your own, it would be a problem, but you’re not on your own. The Most High God is with you.

You could be worried, but instead, you’re thanking God, you’re declaring His promises, you’re being your best each day. When you’re at rest, you’re in faith. That’s what allows God to work.
Quit living worried about your health, your finances, how you could accomplish that dream. God has not brought you this far to leave you. He’s taken care of you in the past; He’s going to take care of you in the future.
God has spoken promises to all of us. He’s whispered things in your spirit that may seem impossible. You have the promise. Now do your part and build the altar. Thank God that it’s on the way. Remind Him of His greatness.
When you remember what God has done, it gives you faith to believe for the greater things He has in store.

God is asking you what He asked Moses, "Is there anything too hard for Me?" You’re looking at it in the natural, but God has supernatural provision.

If you let fear take root, it will keep you from seeing the promise. The enemy is all bark and no bite. He doesn’t have any power over you. The only power he has is the power you give him.
Your mind will come up with a thousand reasons why it’s not going to happen. But God’s ways are not our ways. He has ways you’ve never thought of.
