Q1: What’s changing before mainnet?
Three key upgrades:
1. New MonadBFT consensus
2. Staking for decentralization
3. A new dynamic gas model to make pricing more flexible and efficient

Q2: Most underrated feature?
MonadBFT again.
Why? It solves tail forking, a major flaw in pipelined consensus that causes MEV risk and user unpredictability.
This resilience is a big deal for consensus design.

Q3: Any unresolved architectural issues?
Nope.
Monad is feature complete. Remaining work is about implementation, gas controller, staking, and finalizing BFT.
The design is locked in and progressing fast.

Q4: With high TPS, what’s next?
Focus shifts to:
Ultra-low latency event access
WebSocket support
Longer-term: JIT compiler and growing validator count from 150 to over 1,000

Q5: What’s Testnet 2.0 all about?
It’s a performance lab:
Built for validator testing
Load testing under stress

Monad uses a 2-phase approach:
1. Run all transactions in parallel
2. Commit in serial order
If conflicts happen, transactions are re-run from cache.
Fast, efficient, deterministic

Q8: What is RaptorCast (in simple terms)?
It’s how Monad propagates blocks fast and efficiently.
Blocks are chopped into pieces.
Validators forward those pieces.
Like rebuilding a Lego house from distributed parts, with redundancy.

Q9: Will there be more than one client implementation?
Not at launch.
Mainnet will use Category Labs’ client, but multiple clients are a long-term goal for decentralization.
Q10: Why the name “Monad”?
A term from functional programming
Also means “a single unit” in philosophy and religion
