Take a look at my incredible baby sister and brother in law. They are sharing their story in order to help break the stigma around substance abuse disorder. Please share!

@KyleClark Thank you for your time and the discussion yesterday. The differences between local and national media and the importance of media literacy in our civil discourse are vital parts of maintaining American democracy.
@KyleClark If it makes you feel better, I didn't clue in until I saw this. When I realized she was almost underwater in approval with Republicans, and her disapproval was that high with Independents, I wasn't shocked last night. I didn't predict he'd win, but I figured it'd be close.
@chrisvanderveen I've been waiting 3 days, friends have waited 4 and 7. Took 3 days to get an appointment. Got the email from COVIDCheck saying if it's been 5 days to get retested. Helpful for those of us who are teachers that were trying to keep students safe before school started.
@Shahalti Prior to the ACA passing pregnancy was considered a "pre-existing condition" and women were denied maternity coverage for up to a year after changing insurance companies.
@cottoncandyhead I start my semester asking my students to tell me what they want to learn about throughout the year and what they feel like they have already learned a lot about. It really helps to tailor the class towards their interests instead of mine.
@denverpost So 300 parents out of 75,000 in the district don't believe in science? Sounds to me like the district did the right thing and the Denver Post has bad headlines.
@DavidLat Colored stickers. When you pack a box put a sticker on it for which floor/room you want it in and color code them. When the movers show up, they'll put the boxes in the right place based on the sticker color. Super important for the kid's room!
@Shahalti Cider Days is in October, it's kind of adorable. My parents used to take us as kids. There are a lot of suburbs I don't love, but Lakewood has a special place in my heart.
@Shahalti My family moved to Lakewood in 1899. My Mom is going to be speaking at the Heritage Center later this month about them, but there's a bunch of my family's stuff on display at the museum. The stories are priceless 🙂.
