Listening to Americast:
Much though I agree with him, @JustinOnWeb is simply not impartial on the topic of trans and women’s
Rights.
He should not be allowed to report on this topic.
His personal views are showing.
@stuey_beef I don’t care if rich retirees have to pay more
They can downsize
It’s not a penalty, but a sensible way of changing the incentives in home ownership
@leonburton Cuts to employer NI, or headline rates of tax or even stamp duty would be more effective at kickstarting the economy.
Focus on that and everyone wins.
@leonburton Yes but I don’t think people want tax money to go into business pockets.
There are far more efficient ways to relieve tax burdens to get the economy moving, including giving more to hospitality.
Giving money to one single business sector isn’t one of them.
@leonburton@DanielGoldersUK McDonald’s is hospitality in the same way pubs, restaurants and cafes are. Either food is in or out. You can’t exclude certain brands based on arbitrary optics.
@LeeKurtiss@NickyRasTanura@vitt2tsnoc Let’s be clear, we’re not talking about men in women’s dressing room.
We’re talking about individual, lockable and separate dresssing rooms.
@original_Miss_B@Tinks8756@LillyC12349@vitt2tsnoc@marksandspencer You seem to have deviated from the point that M&S provide unisex changing facilities, in individual lockable cubicles.
This is the safest form of changing space available.
There is no ‘men’s’ or ‘women’s’ changing
@alisonwallis60@DPJHodges What you think it’s normal and acceptable to shove a camera in front of someone’s face and follow them round their workplace?
@DianaBlackburne@marksandspencer Counterpoint: she was complaining to the wrong person, in public and deliberately trying to provoke him.
Her point may have merit; her approach did not.
Complain the corporate, not the local staff
