you think you’d still get those ideas or at least the same quality of ideas as a passenger? lol. Try it. Those ideas actually come to you because your brain is on overdrive.
I’m starting to think I need a driver again.
Some of my best ideas come to me while I’m driving, but I can’t note them down and I end up forgetting them. Feels like I’m losing too many good ideas this way.
For those in the UK who’ve gone down this route, how did you go about getting a driver? And is it actually worth it, or is there a smarter way to capture ideas on the go?

The irony is that many of the same people offended by my point would tomorrow tell extremely poor people not to have children they cannot adequately care for. Or they would advise couples who are both AS not to bring a child with sickle cell into the world. In those moments, the reasoning suddenly becomes clear to them.
They instinctively understand that while the desire to have children and even the fact of having them can be deeply satisfying and emotionally meaningful, it is not automatically a blessing to introduce a child into the world under conditions that predictably condemn that child to unnecessary suffering. In other words, they already ACCEPT that not every birth merits moral celebration.
That is precisely what it means to call something a blessing. A blessing is not merely something that feels good or satisfies a longing. It is an outcome that is good all things considered, one that it is appropriate to WELCOME, sustain, and organize one’s life around. Notice that this understanding only disappears when sentiment or religious reflexes take over. But the principle itself is not controversial. We apply it all the time, we just apply it selectively.
If you were born with sickle cell, suffered relentlessly, and died at 12, would you encourage someone else to have such a child if it were avoidable? And if they did so anyway, perhaps because it fulfilled an emotional or spiritual desire, would you honestly call that outcome a blessing?
If the answer is no, then the disagreement is not about my cynicism or faith. It is about whether we are willing to apply the same moral reasoning consistently, even when it unsettles comforting narratives. I guess many people aren’t. Like I said earlier, many of these folks can’t think without their comforting anesthesia.
MARRIAGE IS A PARTNERSHIP, NOT A PUNISHMENT 👏🔥
Dear men, please listen carefully. If God blesses you with a woman who is industrious, emotionally intelligent and wise enough to understand that marriage is a partnership and not an avenue for her husband to carry burdens until his strength is buried with him, you must appreciate her deeply. A woman who is willing to contribute, support and build alongside you is not challenging your authority but she is strengthening your household.
There is no medal for suffering in silence or for “deep-throating” a sick cultural mindset that says the family must survive only on what the man earns, even when help is available. That belief has broken many men mentally, emotionally and sometimes physically. Pride has never paid a single bill and ego has never saved a home.
Marriage is not a competition of endurance or dominance but it is a collaboration of purpose. The goal is partnership which entails financially, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Create an enabling ecosystem where both partners can thrive. Anything outside partnership will eventually teach you a lesson and sadly, many men only learn it the hard way.
Be guided brothers 🙏🏾
