A rainy day lift! Huge purple clematis blooms along the front fence. You plant them and they grow! Such a happy sight on gray days!

Congrats to UNL’s Ilana Masad’s great review and notice in USA Today for her new novel: All My Mother’s Lovers! Well-deserved! Order it now!!

@WeLoveDogsUSA Lovely! Rescue dogs are the very best! As are the people who rescue them!

This week on wednesday we do theater again with film version of Monty Wooley’s The Man Who Came to Dinner. Early Betty Davis and older Jimmy Durante doing his famous routine. Dry, fast, funny dialogue!

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

Watched The Lady Eve (Preston Sturges) Friday movie nite: smart fast dialogue including hilarious scene on train where Stanwyck tweeks Henry Fonda’ s puritanical notions with a long list of invented sexual encounters! Oh the days of great writing for movies!

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

@JordanFarmerPhD Very smart. I guess that’s why I take it personally. They are literally threatening my life and people I care about and even strangers they don’t know. It seems we’re in a national moral crisis.

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

@JordanFarmerPhD So agree!

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

@JordanFarmerPhD Terrific!

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

@MatthewDaddona This looks so good! Can you send me a piece?

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

Just finished reading Something Borrowed by Alexandra Marshall...about marriage, infidelity and connection...good writer who peels layers off characters with scalpel of their own words

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

We’re starting Wednesday nite see-a-play on streaming/Netflix with friends on Zoom. First: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, film from 1935, made by Max Reinhardt. Stunning visuals and music that will just haunt you. Mickey Rooney as Puck! James Cagney as Bottom!

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

@karenbabine I would think he did...do you still have cookie jar?

[Jonis Agee @JonisAgee]

@timschaffert @Venchi1878 The black bands do it! You need to team with a some hip young dress maker to put these designs into the real world!
