I only #conlang at home, but occasionally, at work, I’ll do research and email myself “to do’s”. I now have 73 emails from myself 🙄. The Christmas period has been too hectic to do any real #conlanging, so I now have all this to work through from tomorrow morning 😩

My only New Year’s Resolution for 2023 is: get my conlangs named and post some translations. I know nobody is interested but I pretend you are to give myself motivation.

Remember when I presented you with 2 cognate words in my P and L conlangs: ‘dwelant’ and ‘lúelanta’? Remember when I asked for suggestions as to what these could mean? No? Well I did…
Anywho… I think I’ve decided that they shall mean ‘to sing, to recite’.

And the Welsh ‘cacen’ (also ‘cake’) can also mean “whore, harlot”… I don’t know what the fuck the Celts were up to….

Although my PQL conlang family is mainly inspired by IE languages (and a smidge of Uralic) sometimes I like to go against the grain and today I decided: numerals to follow their noun. Why not, eh?
