Super fortunate trade on my @Topstep accounts this morning.

DLL yesterday, 7K/acct today after catching the news move accidentally. Constant struggle trading Topstep accounts for months on end.

Will try to capitalize on the larger buffer now to get these below 40% consistency over the next few weeks.

So… I never did get that discount email 🤣 But in all honesty, that wasn’t going to keep me away from the good prop @breakoutprop

Bought another account today and took a BTC long, targeting an @OkalaNQT 8020 Concepts cross above, was probably meant to wait for a sell off it, but I felt confident it would reach it. (Yes the concepts work on any chart that moves 😊 and 8020 OG @Jonny5Slays even made a banging TV indicator that marks them out perfectly -see chart).
If you’re not already in the 8020gang, get yourself in there, not only do you get to see in the trading mind of Okala, it’s full to the brim with trading OGs, and a bunch of cadet traders like me wanting to better themselves, it’s my happy place 😻

Took a BTC long, and for me, it was a LONG trade… nearly half the bloody day 😂💎🙌

It actually got me thinking about how many trades I’ve cut short on Futures and CFDs that would eventually have TP’d when it costs next to nothing to exit and jump back in, it’s just far too easy to convince myself to close early and then watch it run up to my TP 😭

Who would have thought crypto fees would end up doing me the BIGGEST favour? 🤣

Last weekend, the thought of paying that round-trip fee made me sit on my hands, hold the trade, and let it reach target for the pass.

This weekend? Exactly the same.

Those fees might genuinely be the best diamond-hand training I’ve ever had 💎😂😻

On my last funded I slipped straight back into my old habit of cutting trades early — and ultimately that’s what cost me the account 😫

This time, I HOLD.

And actually, passing an account with a 9% target two weekends in a row — feels like one of my biggest trading achievements.

So if the fees are the cloud…
Every cloud really does have a silver lining. ☁️ 🌈 💰

Maybe those fees have finally taught me the ultimate lesson.
