Yesterday was a whirlwind of emotions... Lost my boy Beni after he passed away from sickle cell. Only 24 years old, had so much life left to live. Nothing made me happier than seeing his mom dance with us at the celebration of life ceremony. ❤️❤️❤️ #LongLiveKingBeni🙏🏿
Notice how almost EVERYTHING inside Obama’s Presidential Center bears someone ELSE’S name:
The Eleanor Roosevelt Garden
The Nancy Pelosi Pavilion
The Nelson Mandela Skyroom
The Ann Dunham Water Terrace
The list goes on…
REAL leaders don’t feel diminished by sharing the spotlight 💙
Black people make up 50% of all exonerations in the US, despite being 13.6% of the population. Black people are 7 times more likely to be wrongfully convicted of serious crimes (murder, sexual assault/drug offenses) than White individuals.
Scenes that I never thought I would see, a Dance off between the Scottish and Haitians fans 🇭🇹🏴
This is what soccer is about, bringing people together and forgetting our differences. Love this!
After the world is done raving about 🇨🇩 DR. Congo’s grand arrival and fashion look for the World Cup, please also take the time to educate yourselves about our issues and amplify our voices. DR. Congo is currently undergoing a genocide and one of its worst Ebola outbreaks.
This courageous man, Alan Turing
“If you really want to know the true power of hate, just remember that Alan Turing, the breaker of the enigma code in WWII, was driven to suicide (or was MURDERED, it isn’t known for sure) by being forced to undergo chemical castration as a punishment for his homosexuality.
Historians say he saved 14 to 21 million lives.
I’d also like to say in the time we studied WWII in school, the history textbooks never mentioned him. I had never heard of him until I watched “The Imitation Game” which I 110% recommend you watch if you haven’t.
Alan Turing was a blessing to humanity who saved (once again) 14 to 21 million lives, and he is left out of history because he was gay and autistic.
And this is just one example?? So many brilliant and heroic people are left out of history because of their race, their gender, their sexuality, their religion, and it’s just because some bigots in positions of influence get to decide what parts of history are remembered.
This man has had a profound effect on the world, it’s estimated he shortened the war by 2 years, saved countless lives and was the father of modern computing. Without him the world would be a very different, and very dark place.”

So much of what people enjoy about America; its music, style, dance, slang, and sports energy, comes from Black people. Their creativity helped build the culture the world loves today.
It is frankly embarrassing that a sitting U.S. Vice President is unaware of one of the most elementary facts of World War II. Nazi Germany did not negotiate an end to World War II. The war in Europe ended with Germany’s unconditional surrender after total military defeat and the collapse of the regime in May 1945.
Elon Musk held up a chainsaw, fed USAID into the wood chipper, and at least 600,00 people have already died as a result - two-thirds of them children.
History's first trillionaire.
