Navan Fort is one of our most significant historical sites. For decades archaeologists have been trying to uncover its secrets and this month a fresh dig has taken place that hopes to uncover the type of buildings that were there and what they were used for.
And we are off! 2nd phase of excavations in Navan Fort with @JODarchaeology. We have 4 trenches planned in the iconic enclosure. All desodded, fenced and ready for some archaeology tomorrow! Thanks to colleagues @loveheritageNI@CommunitiesNI and @abcb_council Watch this space!
That's a wrap! (For now...)
We've had a great few days filming with @ancientstristan and the team @HistoryHit

Right folks, we don't often ask for a favour on here, but we need your help!! We are trying to raise the funds for the conservation and display of the new Aberlemno stone. If everyone who follows our feed gave a couple of pounds each we'd smash our target
