I completely trust in SM and the coaching/list management team, but the decision to allow Jai Serong opportunity to leave makes me nervous. I've watched a lot of him, closely, and strongly believe he could be a serious player given opportunity. Will be an interesting watch!
If Dear is fit and available, he MUST play in preference to Lewis. MUST. His ability to jump at the ball will worry Geelong defenders. He is also better at ground level and has shown he creates opportunities for the small forwards. Not easy to defend both Dear/Chol in the air!
@JakeNiallTHEAGE@HawthornFC@AFL You have always been a voice of reason and credibility and an astute judge of talent. Jai Newcombe is an A grade midfielder. Anyone disagreeing with you now doesn't know the game
@viewsfromtheno1@newmo03 More mobile, agile, and cleaner at ground level than Lewis. Better defensive pressure also. Until Lewis has shown he is the better option, I'm sticking with Calsher every day of the week!
@daniel_prins@HawksInsiders Scrim had some good and not so good moments, but he was tough in the contest and tackled hard. Just think we have a harder defensive edge when he plays.
@BradKlibansky@HawksInsiders BMac will play. Need him to balance the lack of leg speed down back. Especially in the wet with a skidding ball out the back. Finn more versatile as Sub.
@bradv19 Good call. Lots of love for Harry. Grossly underrated outside the club. Hard working, reliable under pressure and efficient with ball in hand. If I were the coach, he'd be one of the first magnets on the board.
@RalphyHeraldSun As a local league umpire myself, I agree 100% with Ralphy. The interpretations of HTB on display here are absolutely bewildering! Would love to hear the explanation! ๐ณ
