@DanKelley66 I would say Tennessee is 2 metro regions for sure. Green Bay is not a metro region, but I’m also not sure I’d group it with Milwaukee. San Jose I would group with SF.
@Michael_Dugan33@Savageboston Tutu Atwell this season. Played for LAR last year. Wasn’t traded but signed with MIA in the offseason and then was traded back to LAR in the preseason.
Let’s say a casual gambler wagers $200 a day on sports they’re watching for entertainment. That’s $73,000 wagered for the year.
That doesn’t mean this person is rich and has $73,000 to blow. It’s the same $200 being wagered over and over.
At the end of the year they break even. Bets won $36,500 and lost $36,500.
They made no money.
They should not owe tax on money they did not make.
The new law still taxes them on $3,650. Money they do not have and did not make. That’s phantom income.
This isn’t a “tax break for the rich.” It’s an unfair law written by people who don’t understand how gambling actually works.
Doesn’t matter what sport it is…
Parents, stop coaching from the stands. Don’t coach other players. Don’t even coach your own kid during the game.
Let the coaches coach. Let the players play. Be a parent and support them.
It really is that simple.
I don't want to “download the app” to pay for parking. I don't want to “create an account” to see a menu. I don't want to “provide feedback” on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash
@levcoffeeburner@MouseNKomfort Hard to say who’s right here. I’ve seen good and not-so-good from Amari. Have watched him up close in Maine several times. Has some tools, just came here to add that he is a tremendous passing big, for what that’s worth. Had not seen that mentioned yet.
One takes seconds. One takes a lot longer. Pretty simple concept.
