My Thought Process:
I'll rather sacrifice my 20s, work everyday towards my Goals and Dreams so when I get to my 30s, 40s 50s. I'll enjoy what I built the rest of my life!
Then to party now, have nothing to show and struggle in my 30s, 40s, 50s trying to make it happen!
Just watch
Inside Safe reached the Westlake community this week — turning sidewalks with tents and encampments back to safe walkways while helping Angelenos find the relief they need away from the streets.
Thank you Councilmember @cd1losangeles for your support to bring people inside safely.
Inside Safe is dispelling the myth that people don’t want to move indoors.
More than 35 people accepted housing with services this week near Koreatown and Hollywood.
We continue to move with urgency to confront the crisis on our streets.
Unhoused Angelenos and their pets living under the 10 Freeway were housed and moved away from the streets this week.
In partnership with Councilwoman Park, Inside Safe is bringing more people inside in West Los Angeles.
A lot of unhoused Angelenos that move indoors have lost essential items like identification or access to health care.
Inside Safe brings people indoors and RESOURCES on site to help create a model that proves how wraparound services are needed besides housing.
"I feel like a regular human being."
That's the hope Keñya and Jonta felt once they moved indoors after our Inside Safe team found them living in their car.
Regardless if it's a tent or a car — Inside Safe will keep scaling up to bring stability in people's lives.
Inside Safe teams have been out in full force reaching encampments near the Figueroa Corridor, South L.A., and East Hollywood to urgently bring people inside.
We continue to build on our model to end street homelessness and exchange tents with a permanent home and stability.
“The more you learn, the more you earn.”
Your bank account is correlated with the amount of knowledge that you act upon + the people you surround yourself with
Emergency temporary shelters have been open across the City near high-risk flood zones and additional shelters are opening today to expand our efforts to bring unhoused Angelenos inside.
We will continue to serve unhoused Angelenos and work to keep them safe.
It only took one unfortunate event for Kayla to end up on the streets with her family and resort to living in her car.
Through our Inside Safe program, she was able to move into a motel, and is now in PERMANENT housing where she and her family can start to rebuild their lives.
When unhoused Angelenos need assistance, they should be given housing, not a bureaucratic questionnaire asking them to prove their need.
Housing before bureaucracy — that's how we're confronting this crisis in Los Angeles.

How long am I gonna allow this to hold me back. Or do you believe this was needed to break free.
