What does it mean when most of the content we 'consume' is created by AI...will the rubber band finally snap and people return to nature (or at least picking up our heads and looking away from devices?)..or could this accelerate the push towards ambient computing?
@federicovillaw If given the chance to be proactive (life or ‘designs’) then I would say the best route is to avoid painkillers with a “vitamin” - but if your product is already giving pain, then a pain killer is the logical approach first
@federicovillaw Love this discussion Fede - one thing that stuck with me was the idea that not everyone is in it for the 'right' reasons-even some 'creatives' are in it for different motivators than maybe we are (i.e.$$$),impacting their perception of the intrinsic values held within creativity
listen, im all for innovation but IMO truly 'sustainable' innovation comes from within, intrinsically, and often emergent - forcing solutions because we think its an innovative or 'the right thing' doesn't always pan out like its supposed to..look up the 'cobra effect'
I refuse to call it ‘smart’ until google home stops reacting to unwarranted requests..like google home commercials..its a weird loop it enters and I end up shouting for the next minute
@federicovillaw I still have (and use) a personal MacBook Pro that has matte screen on it - and the Apple Cinema displays that I also still have/use.. Insert “they don’t make them like they used to” expression
