At our Citizens Police Academy graduation, Liberty Utilities President David Swain presented a check to the Fraternal Order of Police for the Joplin Police Shop with a Cop event. We would like to thank them for their support of this important program. @JPD_Chief
Crime Analyst Vanessa West, had a great time at GIFT DAY (Girls in Future Technology) hosted by AT&T. Mrs. West spoke about her job as a Crime Analyst. The girls asked lots of questions and we maybe have one or two future crime analyst in the crowd. @JPD_Chief
Our introduction Tuesday is Cpl. Ketrina Jones. Cpl. Jones is currently assigned to the Uniform Operations Bureau as a supervisor for a patrol squad. Cpl. Jones served as a Joplin City Jailer for two years before becoming a police officer. @JPD_Chief
Introduction Tuesday continues this week with Officer Delshaun Garth. Officer Garth has been with the Joplin Police Department for 1 year. Officer Garth is a graduate of Joplin High School and before coming a Joplin Police Officer served as a Detention Deputy. @JPD_Chief
