@danskiza SCR isn't a transfer spending limit. Being 102% dont mean we can't sign Hackney, it means we're using part of the 30% allowance. issue is next season's allowance is reduced if we finish over 85%. Ndiaye's sale provides relief. With current rumours we could hit 95%, which 1/2

@Benjwinst Honestly, I’m not a fan of the prices. £60m + bonuses for Ndiaye feels light given his age and importance, £35m for Richy feels high, even if the guaranteed fee is lower with clauses. I can understand the logic of the deals, but I think we could’ve squeezed more value out ndaiye

@win_n10 Ndiaye + Beto sales could take us from 102% SCR (roughly where we are now) to roughly mid/high 80s, even with Richy, Tete & 90% of Grealish’s wages. Sales create profit/remove costs; fees are amortised (spread over contact) Exact figure depends on contracts, wages though..

@CrawfordTartan “Crisis time” is a leap. Ndiaye is £60m, Richy £35m separately. Question the valuations all you want, but that doesn't prove financial crisis. SCR is also a factor, we should have got more for N'Diaye but the fees are separate, that's the important thing to remember.

@COYB1971 @TheEvertonEnd 29, 2 year left (spurs have an option the extend) and injury history are fair concerns Richarlison had 11 goals + 4 assists in 32 PL apps last season, which is better than any of our players. £35m may be high given his contract, but the output still has real value.

@TheRobVera There are definitely financial pressures, different from being in crisis. SCR is designed to allow clubs to operate within a threshold, player sales can create significant relief. doesn't mean the problems we thought were behind us have returned. Everton seem to be managing it
