What a disgrace and a beytral of our democracy.

The Labor and Liberal Parties have conspired to prevent ANY debate at all in the Senate on the Social Media Age Verification Bill - it will just go straight to a vote.

So the final version of the Bill (with amendments) won’t be debated by a single member of the Australian Parliament.

And this prevents Senators that will likely vote against the Bill from having their arguments recorded in Hansard.

Why the rush, when the Bill doesn’t take effect until 2026 ?
