Today is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and it is also World Day of Prayer for the Sick. We offer our prayers today for those suffering from illness, those going for surgery, for all medical personnel, for hospital chaplains, and for all those suffering in the world.
These are some words Bishop Larry of @clogherdiocese wrote the night before his ordination as a Deacon.
We pray, today, that we too can fling ourselves, with all our weaknesses, into the loving embrace of the Lord.
