The gun was loaded. One round was in the chamber. Seven more were in the magazine. THE SAFETY WAS ON SO THE GUN DID NOT FIRE. A waiter and other people in the restaurant tackled him.
He brought a loaded gun into a restaurant full of strangers.

The trial for Talia Jones, the woman charged in the d-th of Project Pat’s son Patrick Houston Jr., is set to begin September 21.
Jones, 19, is charged with facilitation of first-degree murder. Houston was shot and killed near Ketchum Road and Long Street in Memphis on January 10, 2025.
Jones was identified as a suspect months later and was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Minneapolis in July 2025. She is expected back in Shelby County court on September 10 ahead of her trial.
