Trump is an idiot yes but majority of the blame should fall on FIFA since it's literally there tournament. They had all the time in the world to pull out and host the tournament somewhere else.
@dylan_watson02 it shouldnt be blamed on Americans in general, but your government is not helping, FIFA are cunts but wasnt your president literally threatening to move games away from cities whos politicians he disagreed with and then he needed the affirmation of the Peace Prize
THIS IS WILD.
FIFA has officially banned fans from bringing reusable water bottles into World Cup stadiums ahead of this summer’s tournament in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
Previous stadium rules allowed fans to bring empty transparent bottles up to 1 liter to refill inside venues, but the policy was recently changed. FIFA says the decision was made for “safety considerations.”
The move comes as heat is expected to be a major issue throughout the tournament, with FIFA already planning hydration breaks during every match. A recent study using 20 years of climate data found that 14 of the 16 World Cup stadiums could reach heat levels that pose health risks for players and spectators.
FIFA says stadiums will still have hydration stations, cooling tents, misting stations, and fans available around venues.
With the 2026 World Cup right around the corner and set to bring in new fans across the United States, I’m curious: what made you a fan of the beautiful game?
For me, it was the 2010 World Cup 🇿🇦. My geography teacher had us fill out a World Cup bracket before the school year ended and keep track of it throughout the summer to see how it played out. That got me watching every match. After that, my friends were always playing FIFA in high school, and that’s what really took my fandom to the next level.
Everyone starts somewhere! ⚽️
