Liverpool have money ready to pay a €60m release clause, Manchester United don't. We knew that because of the structure of the Zirkzee deal.

This is an intentionally divisive statement meant to rile fans up. The club has agreed personal terms with multiple targets, but have chosen not to be held to ransom. That's good, even if it means short term pain.

A new structure doesn't mean the scars of Woodward, the Glazers & co are healed in an instant, it's going to take more than one window & we knew that too. The club is laboured with overinflated contracts which other clubs are hesitant on & are not interested in.

They can't make magic happen, players need to leave for new signings to come in. Inflated wages mean little to no fees coming in return, if any fee at all. Why would players leave & lose a lot of money in the process?
