🚨 DA Leader John Steenhuisen Fails To Pay R150k Credit Card Debt and Lands in Court

Daily Maverick has revealed that despite earning more than R2.66 million a year, John Steenhuisen still FAILED TO PAY almost R150 000 in credit card debt, raising serious concerns that the DA leader and Minister in the ANC-led coalition is living far beyond his means and is drowning in debt.

Even with free housing, electricity, water, travel and a long list of taxpayer-funded perks, Steenhuisen still managed to rack up massive debt he could not repay, forcing the bank to drag him to court for a default judgment.

To make matters worse, the DA reportedly revoked Steenhuisen’s party credit card because spending under his name could not be properly reconciled….which means the money he used could not be accounted for.

This is the same DA that attempted to smear Dr Nasiphi Moya with false claims that she owed R46 000 to the municipality, which was a bill from the previous home owner she had already settled before the DA tried to weaponise the matter. Seems like the DA should rather investigate its own party leader, who is the one facing a real, dangerous financial scandal, not the hardworking Mayor of Tshwane.

The question is whether we can trust a Minister to lead a Department with a nearly R8 billion budget when his personal financial circumstances are so precarious that they leave him vulnerable to influence from dark sources?
