Launched the first episode of the oral history podcast @YouDidWhatPod with actor William Sargent from #StarTrek. Fascinating stories of survival and reinvention. Includes stories about @MarilynMonroe and @WilliamShatner https://t.co/uTlEjLAymo
I honestly wonder who thought it was a good idea, on the anniversary of D-Day, to have a speech in which the Secretary's own ideology is set in metaphorical parallel to the Nazis opposing the beaches being stormed on D-Day.
reform has banned the pride flag at shibden hall, aka anne lister’s house. i am so fucking angry. how fucking miserable and pathetic do you have to be to ban pride flags at a place that means so much to so many people.
On the evening that Epstein hit the Powerball… while locked in jail… the Powerball headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida, where the numbers are drawn, experienced a “computer glitch” causing the live televised drawing to be postponed until the next day.
🇺🇸NEWS: FBI Director Kash Patel used a government Gulfstream V to fly his country singer girlfriend to a George Strait concert.
He watched the show from a luxury suite reported at $35,000 to $50,000.
Then he flew her home on the same FBI jet.
Same week: a “VIP snorkel” at the underwater tomb of 900 sailors and Marines at Pearl Harbor.
The pattern from the same NYT investigation is now public.
Four SWAT agents and two SUVs guarding his girlfriend in Nashville. The detail estimated at $1 million a year. SWAT escorts to a hair appointment.
An FBI official suggested a threat assessment to determine if any of it was justified. Patel berated him.
A New York Times reporter wrote about the SWAT detail. The FBI opened an investigation into the reporter. The DOJ shut it down and called it retaliation.
What is the FBI for when the FBI Director uses it as a personal concierge service and turns it on the people who notice?
@kokeshimum Also wasn't it confirmed that whilst he was being briefed that there was a high assassination risk that was the point he decided to have his kid on his shoulders everywhere all of a sudden
When Elon Musk took over Twitter he cut parental leave from 20 weeks to 14 days but please continue to tell us about his pro child beliefs you fucking moron.
Imagine that. Turns out you can’t lawfully hold a referendum on whether to take something that isn’t yours: like land covered by treaties, or the sovereign territory of Canada.
On Nov. 6, 2024, Edge Ops registered as a federal vendor. Last month, as we revealed at @levernews, it secured a $12 million contract with ICE to supply an analytic tool that ostensibly uses a “question based AI interface” to “map” ICE targets. No history of federal contracts.
The story of Edge Ops LLC is a perfect example of how wildcat defense firms are profiting from DHS’s utterly unchecked spending. The firm, led by a Pentagon insider who goes by, yes, Pic Piccerillo, was originally a holding co. for a sailboat. Until the day after Trump’s election
After an obscure defense vendor won a $12 million no-bid contract w/ ICE, I noticed something odd on its website: The firm was using a (still watermarked!) stock photo for the chief of its “development team.”
Things only got more bizarre from there…
Lying in a legal briefing would get you disbarred as a regular lawyer. But when you’re an unelected, lifetime appointee with powers to write decisions that completely undo & remake the Constitution, the decision gets to stand & you get to keep your lifetime position. Outrageous.
Someone tell me, how is the rest of Canada not suppose to link these two to MAGA if they are speaking at an event with two who are with MAGA.
Absolutely f*cking disgusting.

Your husband deceptively edited clips constantly, enjoyed hanging out with “dirty liberals”, and your organization still owes my catering company $316.89 for the second round of food you bought at UNC Charlotte in 2022. @charobs
Sorry ,Pierre, but I was there during the Harper years in Ottawa, and you were not part of the inner circle of power. You had little incidence on what Harper and his close team decided. You were, however, always in search of the media spotlight and you were asking journalists-myself included- to be quoted in their report.
You spoke French very well and I, working for French TV (TVA Nouvelles), was always happy to find bilingual politicians. I would have used a clip of you in my reports but what you said always stopped me. Even then, you were all about personal attacks and superficial comments. You never discussed /analyzed THE POLICY, always the party.
Ad Hominem rather than Ad Rem.
And those politicians ( from all parties ) I tended to exclude in favour of those who examined the substance.
" No fighting with the other party " in my reports was my motto. Explaining factually why you are against x or y decision, yes. But otherwise, it's just empty political attacks and the citizens of Canada deserve better.
You haven't changed, Pierre, despite the responsibilities that are now upon your shoulders. @PierrePoilievre #cdnpoli @PolQC
FOI cancellation notices are already being sent, just one week after Bill 97 took effect.
The Information & Privacy Commissioner says dozens of cases may be impacted
Requests already in progress are now being cut off
Requests that were close to release gone
That’s the impact
