Easily one of the coolest golf moments I have ever been a part of, a walk off 30 footer calling your shot to shoot the best round of your life. I’ll never forget it @Bderbs6 . To think guy can barely break 90 now a days #washed

The kid duffed the fricken chip, but we still had a 30 foot putt for par. Make or miss this putt it was the best round of his life. So that’s what I told him. “Brian this is the best round of your life just put it close, and tap it in.” 1 over is nothing to be ashamed of.

I’ll never forget the look he gave me. I knew what it meant and he let me know too. “Nah, I’m sinking it.” I got the flagstick in my hand, Putt breaks left, then right, its on line, BANG!!! The kid shoots par for the first time in his life calling his shot.

He pulled his drive off the tee leaving us no way to get on the green in two, we were going to have play it safe this next shot and get up and down for par. We had a good look at the chip, and probably could’ve put it within 8 feet pretty easily, but thats not what happened.

Through 8 holes @Bderbs6 was even on the day and he had never shot par in his life. (At the time we were both rarely breaking 40 on 9) We both knew what was at stake, this was going to be a lifetime memory for both of us, we just needed one more par.
