@HughWoozencroft This was a massive peeve of mine. Home nation should be wearing home kit (red), through the group stage atleast. Wearing 2 kits was silly, but having 3 was just pointless.

@DrJesseMorse Having now seen that is was a standard IM nail with screws, and no need for ex-fix, do you think it could still have a pathological underlying nature? Surely he would have been scanned multiple times over, and if identified, he wouldn’t have had Sx that quickly?

@DrJesseMorse I had this exact injury happen to me 8 months ago. Same method (terrible tackle playing mens league soccer) and same surgery. Mind you I was 35. Unfortunately they are part of the game, I love and it’s terrible to see it happen to anyone.

@MLSist @guardian I’d argue that the whitecaps kit is just as bad the DCU one; all they did was switch out the pattern on their respective cuff and collars. I can’t (well I can) believe the leadership groups for some of these teams sign off on these final designs.

“$255.60 CAD per seat” for the MLS cup final in Miami is an absolute joke for away fans, let alone home fans. I’ve had no plans on going to Miami if the @Whitecaps to the cup final. That’s solely due to the American political climate. @MLS #WCFC

So that’s a shame, because I love what this team has become. But that price is ridiculous, and I would hope that the whitecaps organization subsidizes some of the travel or ticket costs for any caps supporters that do make that trip. Travel and accom costs will be high enough.
