This is dangerously inflammatory . Firstly, it is clear that neither have read the piece by @David_Ornstein , referred to.

Had they done so, they’d know that there’s no binary here. The player believes he was given assurances that haven’t been honoured. Is that true ? Only the parties involved know, but it’s plausible.

A good faith approach to this subject would be to first ask the question ‘why does the player feel justified in his stance?’

Instead they settle on building a case for Isak to be a pariah. You can understand why the player felt the need to leave his home in a hurry when celebrities on a national radio station are prepared to unequivocally publicly label him as a terrible and treacherous human being.

Also, you’d think LFC and Isak were plotting to get the player out of the club without compensation. A staggering level British transfer fee awaits NUFC, which would be of enormous benefit to a club that has struggled to work within the PSR system. A fee that they can only expect to achieve because of the player’s body of work for their cause.
