Despite the seeds, it was a battle between the Bay Conference 1st-place team, Xavier, and the 2nd-place team, Seymour.
Sectionals-bound Xavier was led by Kyler Bleck, who threw a complete game victory & hit a 3-run double.

Kiel baseball finished the regular season with an undefeated 19-0 record, but they lost to North Fond du Lac/Oakfield, 3-1, in their opening WIAA playoff game yesterday.

The Hornets are seeking to become the first Green Bay public or private school to reach the WIAA Softball State Tournament when they face Stevens Point in the sectional final on Thursday.

The Milwaukee Panthers advanced to the Regional Final for the first time in program history, coming up just one win away from becoming the first Horizon League team to reach the Super Regionals.

For an entire generation of Kings fans, Coach Adelman represented the very best of Sacramento basketball, and he will be remembered for the way he inspired those around him – with humility, integrity, kindness, and an unwavering belief in the power of teamwork. His leadership helped establish a culture that continues to resonate throughout our organization today.

2026 Horizon League Reliever of the Year Camden Kuhnke (Hortonville) is the starting pitcher for the Milwaukee Panthers against the Auburn Tigers in Game 1 of the regional final.
Flamethrower Jacob Misiorowski is currently leading MLB in strikeouts (108).
No pitcher in Milwaukee Brewers history (1970–present) has ever led the entire MLB in strikeouts at the end of a regular season.
San Antonio Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson (R) is the son of John Johnson (L).
John led Milwaukee Messmer boys basketball to the 1966 state title. He is regarded as one of the best players ever to come out of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Sproat is feeling really down after his performance today.
He might lose his spot in the starting rotation.

Waupun is surrounded by FVA (Fox Valley Association) teams in the WIAA softball playoffs.
They beat two FVA teams in the regionals and will face another in the sectional semifinal.
If they win, they will face Kimberly or Neenah -- both FVA teams -- in the sectional final.

On May 28, 1988, 35-year-old Odell Jones nearly threw the second no-hitter in Milwaukee Brewers franchise history, but he lost it in the 9th inning against the Cleveland Indians.
Juan Nieves remains the only Milwaukee Brewer to throw a solo no-hitter (1987).
