@seanward A lot of the guys I see seem to think that they are entitled as artists to make a living through art and see AI as taking “their” money. To them I say get a real job. Everyone would make living through sports or art if they were able. No one owes you a dime for your hobbies.

@virgilwalker @AJKocman I agree. But that being said there is a significant part of right leaning Christians who adamantly reject it. I hope we can find a way to come to a consensus on it at some point. Right now it is hard to even talk about it without creating a firestorm from all sides of the debate.

@JoshDaws I think a lot of the aversion to ai is an attempt at gatekeeping. I despise Hollywood and its system and could never make it in that world but now thanks to ai my brother has been making stories I wrote 20 years ago and I’m able to see them for the first time.

@ekkiet I’ve always wondered why people teach that’s what Hebrews is teaching. It’s one and done if that’s it in which case you have to define falling away so narrowly that it’s meaningless or we have to admit we’re all going to hell. Not great options or a good read of the text.
