@NoNonsenseND I’d say it’s more like a subway of thought instead of a traditional train. The thoughts are connected you just can’t always see the connections
@autisticadhdco So it’s happened to me a few times in the last couple years, they test the tornado sirens like every week and I know this but a couple times I’ve ended up right next to one when it started going off and it’s really loud, pretty much instant overload
@sensorystories_ I think they should just test every kid as they’re going into school, like along with the regular shots and checkups they could evaluate every kid, instead of waiting for some sign to get tested.
@ADHDForReal I imagine there would be less sensory issues back then, no electricity humming all the time, lights probably weren’t as bright cause it’s just torches, just less going on
@sensorystories_ So I always have water with me but I tend to have multiple drinks with me all the time, like 4 or 5 at a time sometimes, soda, sweet tea few different ones
@sensorystories_ Do you know if tremors are common with autism? My hands kinda always shake a little and it’s been like that for most of my life that I can remember
@NoNonsenseND Y’all think they should just test every kid as they’re going into school? Idk I think it would help but you still might not catch everyone if the signs aren’t as obvious that young? Idk I’m just wondering
@NoNonsenseND So I do Door Dash and Instacart currently, honestly it’s the best thing for me cause I get to work when I want, not really a boss to answer to except when things go wrong which is rare enough. I’m basically my own boss and it works
