[Alexis Ohanian 🗽 @alexisohanian]

Had a great time doing a live AMA at ⁦@Flock_Safety⁩ (initialized 2017)

[Flock @flocksafety]

Q: How do you balance your impact on each company you and your partners invest in?
A: We take stock of how the company is doing, where they need help, etc. I also take stock of where I’ve spent my time last week and where I can shift. @alexisohanian

[Flock @flocksafety]

It’s a full house in the office! @alexisohanian Thank you for taking our questions on the challenges tech startups have faced over the years and today

[Flock @flocksafety]

Here's a little bit about @alexisohanian: Alexis is the co-founder of @reddit, @Initialized, and a bestselling author based in San Francisco, CA. He's invested in and advised over 200 tech startups and was a partner at @ycombinator.

[Flock @flocksafety]

Some traits @alexisohanian looks for when choosing to invest: Are the founders charismatic, passionate, compelling enough to attract employees that will help further the mission?

[Flock @flocksafety]

"One thing we push founders to really align on is values." - @alexisohanian on what they look for in tech startup founders. "This is where @garrytan and I truly thrive."

[Flock @flocksafety]

On community engagement in business
@alexisohanian: [Flock] had a segment where you showed the community championing Flock in their neighborhoods.
@glangley: The only way we can eliminate crime is to have the public and private working together.

[Flock @flocksafety]

Today, Flock Safety is honored to welcome @alexisohanian to Flock HQ! Alexis will be sharing tidbits of his experience investing in startups, entrepreneurship, and more with our CEO @glangley. Thanks for being here, Alexis!
