1/ Here's a thread for the crypto newbies just getting started. #Crypto#CryptoInvestment#cryptocurrency
1. Understand your risk tolerance. Can you stand to see your portfolio drop 10-25% in a day? If not, crypto is probably not for you and you should stop reading now.
@donalt@mettmerizing Completely agree with those 3 recommendations. Ignore the people saying cyberpunk is buggy. It's not on a decent gaming pc. Played it 1 week after it came out and barely had issues.
Been a while, but I didn't want to post anything until there was any change. Everything I'm seeing is looking like we will have a considerable drop in equities and Crypto. Fair value is 14x forward eps, which is about 15% drop. Banks are starting to predict an over 50% recession.
After that, should be a bottom with 6 months to a few years to recover. No point selling unless you're a trader IMO. Most will just time everything wrong. On the flip side, this will be generational moment in crypto and equities to set yourself up for the future.

I expect this recent rally to move downward. Earnings growth is decreasing and the feds will increase interest rates. Not to mention the forward P/E is overvalued.
Crypto will follow the downward trend.
-Continuing, we know it is a midterm election year, which has historically created volatility. We will likely see large up and downs going forward between a range for crypto.
We are not out of the woods yet, and likely won't get a better idea of direction until future quarters.
A summary of the current state of the market and what it means for #Crypto and stocks:
-Earnings Per Share growth is decreasing and margins will likely dictate futuredirection.
-Three quarters of companies beat their guidance in Q2 (which is good).
-We are at a juncture that could go either way. We are in overbought territory. If this is a bear market rally, we go lower. If it is the beginning of a bull, we go higher. I have a suspicion that margins will continue to drop, and this will likely effect valuations for Q3 onwrd
Important week ahead, I strongly suggest you risk off this week.
Tuesday:
Google & Microsoft earnings
Wednesday:
Fed will announce new rates
Thursday:
-USA Q2 GDP report
-Apple & Amazon earnings
@thedefiedge Skip Deadman Wonderland. No season 2 & not likely there will be one. Tbf it was decent, but there's better ones. The rest are all good recommendations, including Kakeguri. Do you have any preferences or preferred types. I can definitely recommend a lot and save you time on others
Going to be quite a while before we see some consistent green. Quite a few projects will die during that time.
No need to rush into anything. It's a great time to learn how to research projects and brush up on some skills.
@thedefiedge Locking up coins is really only beneficial in a bear market. You miss out on too many opportunities otherwise in a bull market, unless it's liquid staking.
We have been seeing a revaluation of businesses over 2022. The next leg will see earnings take a hit, dropping valuations more, which will hit risk assets like crypto. I expect more downward movement. Let's see who sticks around and becomes a bear market survivor.
Still bullish on #cryptocurrency. Could still get some downwards movement. Markets are going to be pricing in a recession at this point. May be a while for recovery.
When the feds taper inflation and the economy starts to recover, that's when we will see things go up.
We see P/E change in the Negative, EPS growth on the decline, and the index dropping. I still have not seen anything substantial to change the narrative. Just some micro-positive news here and there.
