So often we focus our energy on ‘what’ we teach. Rightfully so, content is important.

Having said that, we need to also allocate a decent portion of our time toward learning about ‘who’ we teach.

The more we know about 'who,' the more effective we will be with ‘what.'

@CorynnMoyers @johnccarver My kids love the picture/motion vocabulary strategy! Students break up into teams and create a drawing and a motion for each word. Students guess the word when groups present, and we review them each day at the beginning of class.
