So often we focus our energy on ‘what’ we teach. Rightfully so, content is important.
Having said that, we need to also allocate a decent portion of our time toward learning about ‘who’ we teach.
The more we know about 'who,' the more effective we will be with ‘what.'

@CorynnMoyers@johnccarver My kids love the picture/motion vocabulary strategy! Students break up into teams and create a drawing and a motion for each word. Students guess the word when groups present, and we review them each day at the beginning of class.
Had my students make Netflix book series based on a book they love. Gave minimal direction and said the one that looked the most like Netflix in each class would win. Here are a few to show off what they accomplished in just two classes the last week of school!! @BAM_MS_Official
