@daniel_iozzo@TheRealForno The odds of succeeding at either is very near zero. The odds of suffering a serious injury attempting to block Myles Garret is very high. Therefore, attempting to hit off Skenes is the easy decision, even though it will more than likely not be successful
@SeifertESPN With Flo's contract expiring, I'm assuming that if he leaves regardless if its a head coaching job, or a DC, the vikings dont receive any comp picks for him?
@jamguerin@TomPelissero@ESPNFantasy You could do a 3 way match-up this week and if you win then you go back and manually change it. That way everyone affected by it still gets a chance
@thorku@PhilMackey The other part is JJs biggest issue this year is his erratic throws. The quality of the defense doesn't impact his accuracy, which was by far the best it's been all year
@MatthewColler Imagine if this defense ever got to play with the lead? It's amazing how long the defense has kept games winnable despite such poor offensive play
@MikeOBryan19@alec_lewis From some of KOCs comments it sounds like he's more consistent with the footwork in practice (I could be wrong here) but it falls apart during games. Much like a golfer having a great swing on the driving range but it falls apart throughout an actual round of golf.
@alec_lewis Yeah I guess im considering the footwork a fairly significant change. Would've been a lot easier to have been able to get that dialed in when he wasn't trying to gameplan as QB1. It takes a lot of time to tear down years worth of muscle memory and rebuild it correctly
@TheRealForno It's weird that accuracy wasnt an issue at Michigan. Have you picked up on anything he's doing different there? I know a lot of times if you're changing mechanics (in any sport) things can get worse before they get better. Wonder if thats what's going on there
@TheRealForno There's definitely been improvement on his pocket presence, presnap operation, and time to throw (just based on eye test, haven't actually looked at data). If he can get his accuracy under control I still have hope he can be good
@PhilMackey Probably something we will never actually get the answer to but I wonder how many of those pass plays are actually run calls that get canned into a pass play? And if that number is high, maybe they need to just not even give the option to can it
@WillRagatz If Jefferson doesn't slip and makes that catch everyone would be saying KOC was a genius for taking that shot. It kinda sounded like it was a run play called with the deep shot getting triggered by the defense having 1 on 1 with Jefferson. Honestly, I liked the call there
