“Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma” embraces the slasher tropes of tripping in the woods and skinny dipping while exploring sexuality and gender. These tropes are broken open and examined. Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson’s chemistry simmers as they begin working on a reboot. Einbinder delivers some of her best work yet as a writer breaking free of shame.

The love for Cinema is expertly used to highlight people that are investigating, or avoiding, pieces of themselves. The art they watch can be a catalyst for who or what they wish to become. Fear and desire walk together constantly and the film captures that duality with flare. I got to tell Jane it was fantastic as I left the theater and for that, I am grateful. I hope to work with artists as bold and passionate as they all are someday. Can’t wait to rewatch during a snow storm with some candy.

Cirie is a Survivor AND legend through and through. Always making New Jersey proud. Engrave her on that Mt. Rushmore.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about if there was a “Best Choreography” #Oscar this year. There are some good options from 2025. It’s plausible one day a category could be created. Here are Five Films I think could make the cut.

“Sinners”
“The Life of Chuck”
“The Testament of Ann Lee”
“K-Pop Demon Hunters”
“Wicked: For Good”

I haven’t seen it but “Kiss of the Spider Woman” wouldn’t be a bad guess either.
